Welcome To The Radio Side

Hello to you once again if we’ve been friends through my shows over the years on The Fox, Rock 101 and Mojo Radio – Talk radio for guys. I pulled a thirty year shift on the radio, experienced countless profoundly memorable moments and so many of them were shared with you. We became radio friends. Maybe you were driving for a living or listening at work. The good hearted who could hear one of their own on the air.

That’s all I ever aspired to be. One of us with a radio show. I’d talk about my good friends and family and in a way they’d become yours. You’d call and tell me your tales. And characters would appear out of nowhere to become a part of our world. I’d come do my show in your backyard with a live band and sometimes we’d go fly fishing together on one of The Tour de Trouts.

Radio doesn’t owe me a thing. I had an outstanding time. I walked away over a decade ago directly into a full time voice business.

One of my clients is a cool rock and metal outfit in the UK called Primordial Radio. I’m their station voice and occasionally they invite me to jump in and host a radio show as part of a fundraiser or just for fun. It’s with their blessing I offer you links to those shows here at billcourage.com. So thank you to good Winnipeg kid Hugh “Moose” Evans, who’s killin it in England running Primordial, his wingers Ross Dewsbury, Pete Bailey, J Rock and the rest for inviting me to the party and allowing me to share it with you.

Tell your friends, spread the word, we play what we want to play and say what we want to say. These people are freaks. I fit right in. They’re offering three months free for you to check them out at primordialradio.com by the way. Meantime, my shows are free to you thanks to their generosity. They’re two hour shows, no commercials. Just some personal fav classics blended in with face melters and a few stories. Click on the links, turn it up and giver. Enjoy!

The Breakfast with Bill Courage

A fundraiser for the frontline workers in the UK during the pandemic and is also dedicated to my late son Holden. It’s songs we turned each other onto and a few light tales about my incredible boy who passed just two weeks shy of his 22nd birthday.

The Cavalcade of Whimsy

A collection of short tales and a blend of rock, metal and even a couple of blues tracks.

The Save Our Venues

A fundraiser we did to help live music venues in the UK on the verge of closing as a result of the pandemic. My theme was concerts l’ve been to over the years. You may have been at many of the same ones yourself.
